Let’s get the cliches out the way: *Katie was an absolutely first class host; the photos don’t do the place justice;a truly unforgettable air bnb experience.*** Now the details: Katie’s place is frankly stunning- think cosy ski chic meets hygge meets alpine lodge.Having booked nearly 9 months prior to our arrival, we were blown away by the interior decor,views from either of the balconies (yes there are two) and the stunning log burner. Katie has thought of everything in her apartment which was perfect for our four day ski stay. You will need a car, and if hiring from Geneva, make sure you ascertain which side you will be collecting the car from (either French or Swiss) and if you need winter tyres, the Swiss side may be the better bet as they come fitted as standard. The French side doesn’t. Back to the apartment: we were a 15 minute drive from Les Gets, and 6 minutes up the hill from the quieter slopes leading up to Mont Chery. We indulged in the ‘Home Dining’ experience Katie provides on our final evening; the fondue and sticky toffee pudding was decadent and delicious. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our break. We will certainly return next season. Those who book will not be disappointed.

I stay in about 2 Airbnb’s a month on average and this was BY FAR the absolute BEST place I have EVER stayed. It’s charming, stunning views, beautiful interior, easy access, incredible hosts, and simply put…perfect! The bar has now been set too high I’m afraid 🙂

Just wow! This place is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The views are to die for and you have two options for looking at them – upstairs on the large authentic alpine balcony or downstairs on the large patio. Great location for hundreds of walks and things to do eg. Outdoor swimming at Lac Montriond or Lake Geneva, climbing Mont Ouzon and the Gorges du diable. There’s a restaurant in the village but we enjoyed the views and the well-equipped kitchen so much that we cooked every night instead (plus there’s a dishwasher!). Thank you Katie!

Beautiful cabin in the mountains, easy to reach by car (Took us about 2.5hrs from Lyon Airport) and all in all a great place to relax for an extended weekend. The place was very clean, equipped with a beautiful kitchen and Katie always responded kindly to all our questions. Definitely recommended!

We spent 3 nights in this little gem. The view is stunning, facing the mountains. We were lucky enough to have a lot of snow and the balcony was just perfect to enjoy the view on the snow flakes glittering in the night. Location if great as well only 10 minutes drive from the slopes- Morzine. The hamper pack is greatly appreciated as well! We will hopefully be back in summer.

Beautiful chalet 2 floors, ground floor is a bedroom with small bathroom and great shower! 2nd floor is a fully equipped kitchen with small couch, log burner, and the top terrace with its beautiful view! Located in an amazing village with an astonishing view of the mountains. Location is perfect there is a family restaurant at the village with a friendly and welcoming hosts, great French food! There is a ski lift near by other than the main. Crowded ones at Morzine. I enjoyed every single moment at this airbnb, Katie is very nice and helpful and responsive host. She is there every time we need her and offers to help and solve any issues.

The most perfect little hideaway for couples. Such a stunning location with amazing views. Katie was a superb host – so welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended and we’ll hopefully get to return very soon.

We spent 3 nights at Grenier Les Bouts – it was the most fabulous accommodation in a simply stunning setting. Beautifully appointed furnishings and a high level of comfort with plenty of thoughtful special touches. The outside balcony (or you can choose the patio below) was the perfect private spot to spend our evenings during the current hot weather – mountain views with the added bones of clear starry nights which we never see in London. It was lovely to briefly meet our host Katie who had been a great communicator during the booking process and provided us with every comfort during our stay. A very special place.

This was such a cute AirBnB. The views are a-ma-zing! And the location is great. Close enough to the places where you’d want to go, but remote enough to really enjoy some quiet and enjoy the views with just the birds chirping around you. I would definitely come back (already thinking about booking again for next year)!

We had high hopes of a relaxing stay at a mountain chalet and Katie’s place more than delivered. Every aspect from communication to location and views to characterful renovation of the old building to quality of the interior was excellent. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at.

Grenier les Bouts is a French Alpine dream. The views are breathtaking and we loved being in a tiny mountain village. Katie was so easy to communicate with and very gracious, and there were many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. This was a perfect way to experience the alps.

Katie’s place is perfect for a couples retreat. Katie communicated with me brilliantly before hand and made everything easy. The place itself is spotless and very stylish, if not more beautiful than the pictures! Not a bad word to say, my girlfriend and I had a perfect trip, only problem was that we wanted to stay longer!

WOW!! What a place! Hands down the most amazing little home we have ever stayed in. The views are beyond incredible, the mountains are amazing, but most importantly this little place made our entire trip. It is in such a great location and has everything you could possibly need. The owners are so helpful and warm you feel just like at home. Best money we have ever spent. Will definetly be back 🙂

Katie’s place is everything the listing and reviews say it is – and more. Beautifully renovated and finished, with so many thoughtful extra touches. It’s real luxury for a couple’s getaway, and ideally located for Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. We had a lovely few days here and would highly recommend it!

Stunning home, the attention to detail is amazing, the place is faultless, exactly as in the pictures. The views looking out over the mountain are beautiful. Lots of very kind thoughtful touches and some very tasty granola! We’d definitely go back!

Grenier Les Bouts is a wonderful little gem. Absolutely perfect for two and spotlessly clean. Katie was on hand to answer any questions and all communications prior to our stay were answered promptly. No hesitation in recommending either this property or the larger property she has for summer or winter holidays – absolutely perfect.

This is a beautiful villa and very well designed with lots of thoughtful touches. Katie and her husband were very welcoming and we appreciated the welcome pack and all the information they provided. We particulalrly enjoyed the outside spaces, both the balacony and patio and the stunning views. The location for us was perfect. It is only 15 minutes from Morzine so is very accessible, but is one of the most qu.iet and unspoilt villages in the area. It didn’t feel touristy at all. There are also some great walks on the doorstep.

Katie and Mark were kind and welcoming hosts. Their getaway was comfortable and charming with all of the comforts of home. Most of all, we enjoyed the amazing views while relaxing on the porch. It was perfect for our stay!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Katie’s, from the thoughtful hamper on arrival to the convenience of a late check-out. Nothing was too much of an ask and we felt right at home. Away from the crowded resorts and nestled on a beautiful mountain, Grenier Les Bouts is pure magic. Incredible views and the most romantic chalet. Every little thing is thought of and Katie is an amazing host. Already miss it and can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in your beautiful Ferme Les Bouts in February 2018 for our honeymoon!! Very comfortable stay with the most beautiful views, we went for a relaxing 6 days and didn’t want to leave. Definitely recommend everyone to stay there with lots to do. We went for long walks with views and shopping in the town only 10 minutes drive away. Will definitely come back for our one year anniversary to try skiing this time!! Thank you for making us very welcome and being helpful.

Beautiful setting in a converted grenier. Very warm and cosy indoors – perfect for couples, and has a balcony with stunning mountain views. Our host, Katie, was very prompt to reply to queries and provided everything we needed during our stay. Easily accessibly location (well gritted roads), and took us about 10 minutes to drive in to Morzine for skiing (suggest booking underground parking in advance). Would definitely recommend!

Wow! What an amazing place. Loved the attention to detail. Grenier Les Bouts is good for the sole. The views are spectacular, ever changing – you can sit and watch it for hours… we had the pleasure of waking up to a light dusting of snow which made it even more spectacular-perfect! One of the very best places that we’ve stayed.

Je merkt dat Katie met liefde, zorg en aandacht deze accomodatie, en de Petit Ferme, verhuurt. Aan alles is gedacht en de cottage is SUPER mooi en van alle gemakken voorzien. De plek is prachtig, met goede uitvalsmogelijkheden naar bijvoorbeeld Genève. In de zomer is er zat te doen, van paragliden tot hiken tot zwemmen in een van de vele prachtige bergmeren. Het was fantastisch om op te staan en van je ontbijtje te genieten op je veranda in de zon met een prachtig uitzicht, vogeltjes in de struiken, en de bellen van de schapen op de achtergrond. We zullen deze plek missen en zeker terug komen!

A perfect spot to relax! Exceeded all expectations on all fronts, from comfort through to stunning views. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of piece and quiet. Katie and Mark have everything covered to make sure the stay was as enjoyable as possible.

A genuinely rare place, incredibly quiet and private but still only minutes from Morzine. We stayed in the summer and enjoyed walking, swimming and just looking at the view from the terrace. The property is finished to a very high standard and Katie went the extra mile to ensure our stay was extremely comfortable. If you want to come and recharge your batteries from a busy life, book here, you won’t be disappointed..! We hope to visit in the winter months to ski.

Katie and Mark are fabulous hosts and their converted grenier is a real gem. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning whatever the weather! There are a number of outstanding hikes (long and short) very close to the grenier and morzine is only 10mins away by car. The local restaurant (l’Rateli) is just a few metres down the road and makes fresh bread to order every day – don’t miss out!

Our stay at Katie’s fantastic apartment was perfect from beginning to end. The apartment was spotless when we arrived & the welcome food pack was a god send as our late flight meant we hadn’t been able to pick up any food for the morning. Every detail was thought of to make the stay absolutely perfect. Thank you!

The cottage is really beautiful and it is placed in a wonderful, remote area. Katie makes sure that you’ll feel at home. Great experience.

Truly gorgeous locale. The cabin has a great layout and design that makes good use of its small size. The village is charming and close to the Portes du Soleil ski area. We were lucky to have great fresh snow and it made for a magical setting.

A little piece of paradise… What a beautiful, quaint and unique find, in quite simply one of the most stunning parts of the world. We arrived at the Grenier after a day on the hill. Access was simple due to Katie’s exceptional correspondence leading up to our stay. We arrived to a welcome hamper of goodies, including two chilled beers in the fridge! The Grenier is like nowhere we have stayed before – it’s small yet there is plenty of room for two, it has been renovated to an extremely high standard, fully stocked with cooking equipment etc, fluffy towels and bathrobes with Molton Brown products, wood for the cozy log burner, satellite TV, and a balcony and view over the Portes du Soleil to die for. We quickly enjoyed our beers on the balcony, which overlooks the snowy mountains, sat on two armchairs that had lovely sheepskin rugs on them to keep us warm. The attention to detail, together with the setting is what made the Genier so special. We were there on our final holiday as a couple before we welcome our first born into the world, and I must say it was perfect. If you’re looking for a ‘get away from it all’ retreat, a romantic week in the mountains, or simply a holiday with the family away from the bustle of resort (they have a three bed barn next-door that you can also rent) this is the place for you. It’s about a ten minute drive to either Morzine or Les Gets, so there is lots to do on your door-step. The closest chair-lift is also only a few minutes’ drive away – although we chose to drive to Les Gets as the snow was better on that side of the mountain during our stay. It’s also close to Geneva airport, only taking us about 1hr 15mins. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back with our new addition!

Dear Katie & Mark, The Grenier is a little piece of heaven on earth. We were lucky enough to have an abundance of snow which makes the scenery around seem almost unreal, absolutely stunning. The Grenier itself is extremely well equipped and with the log burner and underfloor heating is a cosy, relaxing and idyllic place to stay. A truly special place to stay. Quite possibly the loveliest, calmest, well-designed, most luxurious hideaway for two in the Haute Savoie. It’s the location, cosiness and special touches that make it this way. The location is stunning. Your eyes keep being drawn to the wondrous view across the valley. It is quiet but not isolated. If you’re coming in winter and concerned about driving up the mountain in the snow, don’t be. We hired a car from the Swiss side of Geneva airport which came with winter tyres (standard issue, I’m told), and despite over 2 feet of snow falling whilst while we were there, we never had a problem. Normal tyres would have required snow chains though. It was great getting to know Katie a bit – we were really impressed by what has been achieved with the renovation. We leave this short trip with some very special memories.

Petit Grenier sur 2 étages magnifiquement rénové et décoré avec beaucoup de goût,mélange de rustique et moderne.Vue superbe sur la vallée de Morzine et les montagnes;très propre,bien agencé malgré la petite surface,équipements complets et dans les moindres détails.Un conseil:peu de bagages à emporter pour un court séjour…(j’en ai emmené 10x trop pour 4j!!). Katie charmante,attentive au bien-être de ses voyageurs,discrète mais disponible si besoin. Je recommande donc vivement ce petit coin de paradis pour couples aimant le calme et la nature.

This place is fantastic. We enjoyed a relaxing break over new years here and it could not have been a better accommodation. Just the right size, luxurious throughout and all the little details thought carefully about.

An absolute gem! Katie and Mark are wonderful hosts, striking the perfect balance between being there if you need them and making you feel like you’re truly in a world of your own. Le Grenier is small and perfectly formed – an incredibly luxurious little place which we didn’t want to leave. The village restaurant came up trumps twice in four days and the views during our September visit were amazing. We will be back in winter, spring and summer to see them in all their seasonal glories! We cannot recommend Le Grenier highly enough.

Chalet en tout point conforme au descriptif et photos. Les 2 hôtes sont dans la maison attenante, mais suffisamment présents et discrets pour que le séjour se déroule parfaitement bien. Hébergement (Les Bouts) cosy, une situation très agréable à la sortie d’un petit hameau et aux portes des grands domaines. A recommander sans hésitation!

We have probably stayed at over 25 AirBnBs in the past few years, and this was our very best experience yet! What an incredible place that Katie & Mark have restored, renovated and decorated with so much taste and attention to detail. And what a location. We spent every morning and evening on the balcony enjoying the peaceful surroundings and feeling so far away from the hustle of everyday life. It is in a small and charming village, but really close to both Morzine and Les Gets, with so much to offer in both summer and winter. When we arrived, a wonderful welcome basket was waiting for us with wine, beer, fresh bread, jam, fresh eggs, etc. We also really enjoyed using the BBQ – top of the line (like everything else) – so much so that we cancelled dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant! I really can’t recommend this place highly enough. We have already shared it with many friends, and will surely be back in the coming months and years! Katie – thanks to you and your family for everything.

Wauw! That’s the best expression to describe our stay in Couples Gem. The small house is very charming and luxurious and the view is magnificent. Katie welcomed us with a bottle of wine, cold beers, bread, cookies and much more. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is present in the house. This made us feel very welcome. I would recommend Couples Gem to everybody.

Absolutely excellent place to take a holiday! The accommodation itself is beautiful and has everything you need. It’s perfect for couples looking to escape into the mountains. Katie was the perfect host during our reservation process and visit. In advance she touched based with us and was available to guide us when we got lost en route. Katie met us with a warm welcome. We had a fantastic weeks stay in Grenier Les Bouts. It is hard to believe that up until recently this was a derelict barn in desperate need of repair. The conversion works have been carried out sensitively and as a result it has all the charm of a secret mountain retreat. Inside the decor is stylish yet practical, with all a couple needs. The views are outstanding and the location peaceful. Great situation for the slopes with the nearest chair lift just a 7 minute drive away. Can’t wait to come and stay again.
